Youth Summit

Well, we've been doing a lot of travelling lately. After our trip to Saskatchewan we headed to Halifax for a week-end with other youth pastors and leaders from across Canada. We all spent 2 nights in Halifax and then 2 nights here in Charlottetown. It was such a fantastic time of encouraging one another and praying and talking about the future of youth ministry in Canada. It was especially nice to see some old friends. The Chisholms were there with their new baby boy so Clara even had a friend to play with. Ruben and Jessica, a couple we worked with at Mountain View, were there too . For us, this week-end could not have come at a better time. I'm so thankful we serve a God who knows what we need and when we need it. It was just great to be together with other people who are making sacrifices to be doing what they're doing. We're not alone, and we're not crazy for living in the church basement! Ha-ha.
