Happy Mother's Day!

What a special Mother's Day this has been. John and Clara cooked us french toast for breakfast. We had a lovely service this morning in church and then went out for a buffet lunch with Mom and Carl and my Aunt Cheryl (Mom's sister) and her husband Neal. "Auntie" Ellen, our good friend and children's ministry leader also came with us. We ate everything from waffles to lasagna to strawberry shortcake! YUMMY! Then we headed over to my grandmother's place for a visit. The girls made her day. Elizabeth was good as gold as usual, and Clara had fun being her silly self. She gets so giddy when she's over tired! It was a beautiful afternoon...so special to be with family.

John is talking to his Mommy on the phone right now. Too bad we couldn't have all been together. We're looking forward to seeing Mom and Dad Evans again in just over a month! Summer is coming...believe it or not. I'm still not sure when the weather will catch up to the calendar.

A happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful women in our lives...aunts, sisters, cousins, friends. We love you all!! Enjoy this special day.

My darling daughters...can they strike a pose or what?!

Wow, I can really see a resemblance to Clara in Elizabeth! They're both real cuties :)
